Church Planting

In Matthew 9:37-38 Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."
Shady Oaks desires to work hard in God’s harvest field. We want to live our lives on God’s mission. As God brings the harvest of new disciples, new churches are needed.
We want to prayerfully partner with new Church Plants and seek to establish new churches who themselves have a vision from the beginning to plant new churches. It’s how the story of Jesus spread in the first century and the same is true today for our city, nation, and world.  We are currently seeking to establish new churches in DFW, our Nation, and the World!
Iglesia Bautista La Vid – Hurst
La Vid is a Spanish language church that has roots in Hurst and Grapevine. They were planted in 2009 out of FBC Colleyville and are now located in Hurst but have a vision to plant a campus in Grapevine. We have formed a partnership with La Vid to see this vision become a reality. We are excited to see God move in reaching, growing, and expanding La Vid in the Spanish speaking community of Hurst and Grapevine. Whether you would like to join or serve at La Vid, there are various ways to be a part of this vision. You don’t have to know Spanish to be able to serve.
