Children

Our children’s ministry exists to partner with parents to lead children to become disciples who change the world. Kids, birth through 6th grade will experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. Our goal is for your child to have fun and learn about Jesus on their level while building relationships that nurture and encourage growth in Christ.

Sunday Mornings

Preschool (babies through Pre-K) - This environment is created for our littlest ones.  Our preschool area offers dedicated and loving volunteers who will show our children Jesus’ love by praying over them and teaching them dynamic lessons through songs, stories, and hands-on activities.  The Preschool is open for both our worship service (9:30) and our Life Groups (10:45).

Elementary (K-6th) - At 9:30, children in K-6th grades attend corporate worship with their families. Then at 10:45, they meet in the KidZone for a time of Bible lessons, relational discussions, games, activities, and application of the lesson to their daily lives. Our goal is to disciple children and integrate them into the life of the church where they can live out our mission with their parents and other adults.

Wednesday Nights

AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed - 2 Timothy 2:15) is an amazing Bible Club that makes memorizing scripture a little easier and a lot of fun for children ages 3 through 6th grade.  Children work through their handbooks earning awards that are displayed on their uniform.  Getting the Word of God into the hearts and minds of our children helps them now and into their future.  We meet from 6:15-7:30 PM on Wednesday evenings during the school year.

SAFETY

Safety is very important to us. You can relax as you attend an adult small group and our worship service knowing that your child is being loved on by caring volunteers. All of our volunteers are background checked and every area is monitored. Upon check-in, you and your child will be given matching identification stickers. Your child will wear the name tag portion that has a code that matches yours. This is our way of keeping your child safe. During checkout, you will return to your child’s room and show your guardian tag for your child to be released to you.  Additionally, the preschool area is a locked area that is accessed only by approved volunteers and parents/adults with guardian receipts.
