Shady Oaks partners with the following organizations:
Southern Baptist Partners
The Cooperative Program is Southern Baptists’ unified plan of giving through which cooperating Southern Baptist churches give a percentage of their undesignated receipts in support of their respective state convention and the Southern Baptist Convention missions and ministries.
IMB's (International Mission Board's) mission is to make disciples of all peoples in fulfillment of the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20. Over 6,000 people groups - 1.7 billion people - still live with little or no access to the Gospel. IMB is an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention, the nation's largest evangelical denomination, claiming more than 40,000 churches with nearly 16 million members.
North American Mission
Throughout the Bible we see a clear pattern of God calling and sending His followers. And God wants to send you as well. As believers, we are a people sent by God to carry the message of God’s love, mercy and redemption through His son Jesus Christ. That is missions at its core.

Our Mission is to educate and involve Shady Oaks Baptist Church in adoption, foster and orphan care in our community and throughout the world, embracing the spirit of adoption according to biblical principles. Beach Club Kids
Every Thursday after school, we get to go into an Elementary School and teach kids about JESUS!
Beach Clubs are high energy and filled with fun. They are "kid centered" clubs that meet after school for one hour one day a week for 24 weeks. Beach Clubs incorporate the truth of scripture every time they meet. This allows the character words taught in all elementary schools to be reinforced through the teaching of scripture.
We currently are supplementing weekend meals for 110 children in four local elementary schools: Shady Oaks, West Hurst, Harrison Lane and Stonegate. With donations from NEED and church members we provide 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners and two snacks during the school year. The Weekend Kids team meets (during the school year) each Wednesday at 4:30 PM, in room 224 to pack the food bags.
HOUR Movement is a fulfilling experience for someone, just like you, to share your passion for helping the underprivileged with others on the same mission. Let’s face it, when you’re making all of the decisions it can be incredibly difficult to map out a clear course and confidently stick to a game plan. Input from our experienced members and volunteers will leave you with a fresh perspective and reinvigorate you to take action.
A ministry desiring to empower women to step out and serve other women by putting their faith into action on the mission field.
